The golden rules when applying hair wax:

1. Chose suitable wax according to your hair length and type

2. Apply small amount of wax each time, never put too much at once

3. Spread evenly and rub it all over your palm before applying wax to hair to avoid clumps of wax

See the chart below for advices on how to chose the appropriate wax, starting from Pink Spiky Edge as a harder wax for short hair from the bottom left of the chart, to Blue Cool Wet as a very soft gel type texture.
